Description
The Knauf acoustic insulation range includes this acoustic roll. It offers exceptional sound absorption capabilities and also enhances the thermal and fire performance of walls, floors, and partitions. This acoustic roll is made of glass mineral wool, making an effective sound absorbent layer that can significantly improve the acoustic performance of partitions and floors, without adding significant mass to the structure. When used in partitions, glass mineral wool complements the plasterboard linings as it absorbs airborne sound in the cavity, thus reducing reverberation. This material is particularly useful in preventing the hollow sound that is often present in partitions with unfilled cavities.
